Classic/Antique Car Repair: Sarting Wire Impala 64 ss, automatic transmision, nicolas nicolas

Hi Roger, i live far away from experts rebuilders or literature acces(Argentina-South America),i´m restauring the electrical sistem of my impala 64 ss whit automatic transmision and i´cant find where the violet wire of the ignition key does it goes to, ¿ does my car have any system between the transmision and the ignition system?

 HI , can you trace the wire to see how far it will go or about where , I do not have a harness book , as far as the tranny, the only elect. wire that would go in that area would be for the shifter if it is on the floor (for lights)there should be no wires going to the tranny  - there   is a wire for the reverse lights  that should be hookd up to the linkage. .
