Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1965 327 vette stalling low RPM warm, vapor lock, comming

Question
Im having trouble identifying the cause of some stalling on this car. 327 ci carter afb all stock. Runs and starts absoultly great! after it warms up (180degrees) comming to a stop the car begins to hunt and rough idle and eventually stalls. I can give is some gas ad it will recover as long as its idleing at ~ 1000+ RPM, I have the idle set to 800 to compensate for the stalling when I set it to the spec (650RPM) it idles but hunts and loses RPM untill it stalls. I recently rebuilt the carb Im thinking vaporlock but im not sure ..any ideas?

Answer
JOHN ;
\ HI - I would look for a vacume leak or broken hose. if not than try to adj. the carb. as the idle at 1000 is to hi. also how is the dist. cap.rotor,points,etc. and the timeing , re check it. it might be a simple thing but I would check everything.
I do not think vapor lock.>>>>
