Classic/Antique Car Repair: Ignition coil, andy bernbaum auto parts, newton mass

I am trying to locate the correct ignition coil for a 1938 Dodge Pick up. I believe it has a wire from the ignition switch to the back side of the coil, and the coil has the tower side in the engine compartment, and the back side of the coil is in the truck's cab.I would like to know if this is correct, and where I can purchase this type of coil.
