Classic/Antique Car Repair: switching bodies, 1970 chevelle malibu, caprice classic

i have a 1970 chevelle malibu and a 1994 caprice classic.

i am curious as to switching the bodies on the cars as an alternative to switching all the equiptment around. ( i want to put my chevelle body on the caprice).

anyways, the specs are nearly exact ( less than 1" on all specs) anyways would this be possible? if so would it be more expensive than merely switching the mechanical and suspension equiptment?

      Where there is a will there is a way . I do not know why you would wish to do that , but I do not see why it can not be done. I can say that it will be a lot of time and labor, as far as money - you have the parts so it should not cost that much, but a lot of labor. if you do it .if you pay someone than it is going to cost a real lot.
