Hi Dick
My 64 Pontiac Parisenne is on the road.Looks good,runs good.Not a show car but a sympathetic restoration.
Anyway,I am getting asked if its for sale,notes on the windows,etc.Considering that I put less than 1500 bucks(Cdn)into it,including price,I am wondering what would be a good offer to except!
Of course I would like to get as much as I can(as is).

I wouldn't try to answer this without inspecting the car myself, but I can tell you how to find out what it is worth:  Go to your local library and ask for the latest issue of the Krause Publications book called "the old cars price guide".  Read it carefully, especially the section on what the condition codes mean and how to evaluate your car.  Then when you know what your car is on the condition scale, you can look up the closest comparible US model and see what that would bring in the US.  You'll have the figure the difference in Canadian dollars.
