Classic/Antique Car Repair: 64 impala 409, hubcaps, emblems

I puchased a 64 impala 409 with a 327 motor about 10 year ago, other than the 409 emblems on the fender or the 409 motor is there any other factors that determine a true impala 409

as far as I know it was mostly extras like  chrome and some stickers or s/s emblems etc, hubcaps or rims ,  not too much diff. I would rather have it with the 327 as it is a better motor in my book . as a 409 is fine     but a 327 is heaven.you can do more to it for power for less and engine is a lot smaller.
