Classic/Antique Car Repair: Heater Core r & r, holley fuel pump, 69 camaro

Question
I have a 69 camaro without Air conditioner.
How is the best way to R & R the heater core?
If by way of the distributor duct on the firewall, then how do you remove it with out first removing the Right fender:

Also I am putting a electric holley fuel pump to improving its starting after setting for a long time. Is it OK to go through the manual pump, or should I bypass the mechanical pump.

Thanks,

Answer
ok as far as the heater core first do not try to twist off the hoses you must cut them off with a razor or else you will break of the ends. than as far as i know you un bolt all from the front and the heater core will come out from undre the dash as you might have to remove the glove box. as i do not think it comes out from the front.
also as far as the elect pump fine but by pass or remove and block off the fuel pump hole as it will cause or can cause problums if you try to use the two. mount it in the rear with a cut off switch for safty. and use steel or metal lines. as it is a law. and if you have p.s.i. problums you might have to get a fuel line p.s.i. regulator but i doubt it i never heard of taking off a fender to get the core out, as at times it is a bitch but no fender takin off . as i said i think it comes out from under the dash if not and it comes out from the front than it got to  be easer.  take yoyr time and you got to use small socket tools .good luck
