I'm looking for the metal strip that covers that quarter window seal-or moreless holds the piece in place? Do you know where I may find this metal strip at? Thank you for your time.

Depending on where you live, there may be an old car junkyard that specializes in this sort of thing near you.   If you can't find one within driving distance, you can contact "Memory Lane" in either Phoenix AZ, or in Sylmar, CA.   They may be able to help you with that part.

If you are a member of the Cadillac-LaSalle club, they can also often be of help.
