Dodge Repair: 13 Grand Caravan rear brake replacement

I am replacing the rear brake pads on a 2013 caravan and I can't get the caliper to compress. I have used a c-clap with the fluid cap off, the bleeder screw off, and while the brake line was disconnected, but none of these has worked. Am I missing something with it being a newer vehicle because I have done this before on other vehicles with no problem.

I have the '09 Mitchell manual and it does show a more complex procedure is necessary. I can copy the pages and attach them to an eMail I would send to you directly. I need to know your email address but don't use the @ symbol, use "at" instead or the address will be automatically erased.
