Dodge Repair: 00 Intrepid: air distribution not adjustable

I have a 2000 4 door Dodge Intrepid with a 2.7L engine. I can not control the direction of the air flow in my car. It only comes out of the vents in the dash no matter what I select on the control panel. Everything else on the control panel works. i have taken the panel out to see if the connection was loose or broken, but everything is fine. I even got a new control panel and still the air flow only comes out of the vents in dash.

Hi Gene,
There is an actuator for the Mode door, on the bottom of the HVAC box under the dash that is probably not working. I can copy a couple of pages that show where it is and describes how to remove and replace it. I will send those to you by email but I need to know your email address.
