Dodge Repair: a/c clutch problem: 02 caravan, grand caravan sport, compressor clutch

Question
have 2002 grand caravan sport has no power to aa/c cluth both wires on low pressure swith at ground high pressure swith seems to be working

Answer
Hi Donald,
The clutch is powered via the a/c compressor clutch relay in the power box and needs fuse 18 (15 amp) for that supply voltage. The dark blue/yellow wire at the clutch is what brings that power to it from the relay's socket (front/outboard socket pin). The relay is activated by the pcm (by grounding the light blue/orange from pin 64 to pin 85 of the relay socket (rear/outboard)). The power from the fuse is on pin 30(rear/inboard) and the power for the relay coil to actuate when the pcm grounds pin 85 is on pin 86 (rear/inboard) and should be present when the key is in the 'run' position. The pcm of course needs to be satisfied about pressure and get a request for it to activate the clutch. So check those out and let me know.
