Dodge Repair: intermitting a/c, blower motors, steering wheel

QUESTION: I have a 04 ram 5.7 hemi. My A/C stopped working. But if you use the steering adjustment lever to raise the steering all the way up.The A/C will come on some of the time. Or it seems to work at night or when its raining. But the steering wheel has to be all the way up.But never seems to work whens its really hot outside,Go figure. Do you have any ideals whats going on.I have power to the blower and the resister under the passenger side dash.

ANSWER: U mean the blower motor is not working? Because the hot or cold air is irrelevant if the blower is not moving air.

QUESTION: Yes that is what I meant. The blower only blows sometimes as stated above.

take off the steering cover  and disconnect the ign switch  the main power supply for the blower motors comes from there  they have been known to melt in that area  there was a recall for certain years for this as well  check your local dealer with you vin to find out .
