QuestionI recently bought a BMW 1981 733i. I found, however that it comes with the metric TRX tires, which are obcenly expensive to replace. and tend to wear out quickly. I would like to find some rims that would fit my car, but would accomodate a more standard tire.
I've tried ebay, calling used tire dealers, scrap yards, a few online operations, but so far replacent rims are very rare and very expensive.
I may have to bite the bullet or just junk the car, but I would like to find some cheap rims since the car itself has been very reliable.
I was wondering if you might suggest another place I could go to find inexpensive used replacement rims, or perhaps another alternative I haven't considered yet.
Bolt Pattern is 5x120mm, I don't know the offset offhand, but I belive it's around +15-18mm.
Also, I had one other quick side question. One of my headlights doesn't work on low beam, I've tried replacing the bulb, but that doesn't do anything. It has done this in the past, and all I've had to do is wiggle the fuse around a little and it would turn on. (I have tried replacing the fuse itself). Any suggestions there?

i've never heard these wheels were hard to find.
it sounds like you have a bad ground or corroded terminal thats causeing the headlight to be flickering off.
