QuestionQUESTION: Hi Kevin. It was recently mentioned that my son has the early stages of asthma. I have done the cleaning and borderline physchotic disinfecting of everywhere he is. For some time ive been noticing some "friends" possibly renting space within my headliner. Ok and the question...having a 2004 model and not having the console and elecs on the headliner, is it easy enough for me to removal the pillars and headliner? Or would you suggest finding a friend or shop to do it? Also, is the anything I should not use to clean the top side considering weather changes? I dont know what the top side is lined with and would really not like start any fires!!!

Remove the a-pillar trim. (Refer to 23 - BODY/INTERIOR/A-PILLAR TRIM - REMOVAL)
Remove the upper b-pillar trim. (Refer to 23 - BODY/INTERIOR/B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM - REMOVAL)
Remove the upper c-pillar trim, if equipped. (Refer to 23 - BODY/INTERIOR/C-PILLAR TRIM - REMOVAL)
Remove the coat hooks. (Refer to 23 - BODY/INTERIOR/COAT HOOK - REMOVAL)
Disconnect the headliner harness electrical connector at the left a-pillar.
Remove the dome lamp. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING - INTERIOR/DOME LAMP - REMOVAL)
Remove the overhead console. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/OVERHEAD CONSOLE - REMOVAL)
Remove the sun visors. (Refer to 23 - BODY/INTERIOR/SUN VISOR - REMOVAL)
Remove the sun visor supports. (Refer to 23 - BODY/INTERIOR/SUN VISOR SUPPORT - REMOVAL)
Lower the headliner and disconnect the center high mounted stop light.
Lower the front of the headliner down to the floor just in front of the instrument panel and remove through the passenger door.
