Car Stereos: Cd player, chevy impala, speaker outputs

I have a 2004 Chevy impala and I want to hook up an amp and subwoofers to the cd player. But I dont think there are any plugs for me to hook the RC cable and remote wire from the amp to the cd player. What should I do to hook my amp up.

Hi Josh.

There is 2 ways to do this.
Some amplifiers have a wire harness thats called "High Input" you can connect these wires to the speaker outputs on the radio or grab them from the actuall speakers.
or
you can buy an aftermarket High Low Converter and connect it to the speaker outputs on the radio, or grab the signal from the actual speakers, you can buy this at any car audio store.
