Dodge Repair: P-1494 Code, voyager 3, economical source

Question
I am getting a p-1494 code on my 1997 Voyager (3.0 L). Is there any way to repair the Leak Detection Pump short of replacing the whole unit? I am handy with car repair and electronics (see my listing on this site under SAAB). If not repairable, do you know of an economical source to procure an LDP?

To my knowledge, there is no way to repair these pumps. But I would suppose there are those that may have tried and succeeded. But I believe that many more have failed. I won't give price quotes or recommend any specific part suppliers, so you will have to make your own call on this point.
