Dodge Repair: Replacing lugs, brake caliper, stud removal

Question
Do I have to take out the axle shafts to replace the lug studs on the rear straight
axle of a 2004 ram 1500 4x4, or can I just remove the brake rotor?

REMOVAL
Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
Remove the brake caliper, caliper adapter and rotor, (Refer to 5 - BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/ROTORS - REMOVAL).
Remove the stud from the hub with Remover C-4150A (Wheel Stud Removal
