QuestionI asked a question early about removing front axle from front differential on a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 quadcab 4x4. Understand you could not answer my question, but do you have any ideas where i can find the answer to my question?
(QUESTION: I have a 2002 ram 1500 quadcab 4x4> I am trying to remove the right side axle shaft from differential housing. I have the cv joint out , I have the diff cover off but I can't see how to remove the shaft. Thanks for the help#
also my response to your earlier answer #QUESTION: What is holding the splined shaft in the front differential housing? I had a cv axle go bad and it messed up the splines on the rt side shaft. I can't get the shaft off the gear inside the front diff. I was told there was a c clip but I don't see it) any help would be greatly appreciated

Remove half shaft from vehicle.
Remove skid plate, if equipped.
Clean axle seal area.
Remove snap ring from the axle shaft.
Remove axle with Remove 8420A Collar 8420-3 and Slide Hammer C-3752 (AXLE SHAFT PULLER
