how do i remove the lower ball joints on a 98 dodge dakota?

Answer
LOWER SUSPENSION ARM
REMOVAL
Raise and support vehicle.
Remove wheel and tire assembly.
Remove disc brake caliper and rotor from steering knuckle, Refer torakes.
Remove shock absorber.
Remove stabilizer bar link from the lower suspension arm.
Remove the coil spring.
Remove lower suspension arm mounting bolts Lower Suspension Arm from the frame mounts and remove the arm.
INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Frame mounting bolts must be installed to their original location and orientation to avoid damaging the steering rack boots.

Loosely attach suspension arm to frame mounts.
Install the coil spring.
Install the shock absorber.
Install stabilizer bar link to the lower suspension arm and tighten nut to 47 N·m (35 ft. lbs.)
Install brake rotor and caliper, Refer torakes.
Install wheel and tire assembly.
Remove support and lower the vehicle.
Tighten the front suspension arm mounting nut to 175 N·m (130 ft. lbs.) and the rear nut to 108 N·m (80 ft. lbs.)
