Dodge Repair: I Just Purchased a 2000 Dodge Intrepid and, 2000 dodge intrepid, david money

I noticed that a lot of the 2.7 engines have major problems. I was just wondering if all of the engines go out? I got this car for $2,200 dollars at an auction and I didn't know about the potential problems. It only has had 1 owner and was a trade in at a ford lot and they in turn sent it to the auction.The car looks and runs like new and has been very well kept. I would say that it is in Excellent condition.DO you think that it will be ok? and do you have any PM that you could recommend that I do to this vehicle? I have a 98 with a 2.7  and have 177k on it  it only smokes  I know what wrong just dont have time to fix it yet.  As for saying all 2.7 are bad  I cant say that  and I have no way of telling u if yours will be good as well  U want me to tell u something like that when I have not looked the car over  cant be done.
change your oil  use 5w30  every 3k.
