Dodge Repair: Durango AC/Heater Fan, blower motor resistor, hex screws

Question
QUESTION: Hopefully this is a quick fix. I have an '01 Durango SLT. The problem is the fan only works on high. The fan remains off in all positions Except "high". Heat works fine, AC blows cold but the "High or Off" thing is pretty annoying. Checked fuses under hood and the left of Dash; both are OK. Any suggestions? Thanks.

ANSWER: blower motor resistor   behind the top part of the dash
