Dodge Repair: Question???, torque converter clutch, dodge ram 4x4

Question
Hi Kevin, I hope all is well with you! I was hoping you could help me. I would like to know if I can change a clutch solenoid myself. I do most work and maintenance on my vehicles myself. I have an '01 Dodge Ram 4X4, standard cab long bed with a 5.9L motor. The trans temp warning light came on the other day and it shifted itself out of overdrive into drive on its' own. I pulled out the OBDII code finder and the trouble code #1740 came up. That's the solenoid code, correct?? The OBD code site read,"torque converter clutch solenoid mechanical failure-may just be a solenoid body." I don't understand all of this but I'm assuming I need to replace the solenoid. Can I do this myself?? Please give me any info. you can, I really appreciate your time and help. Thank you, Shawn K.

Answer
i dont think u want to mess with this one.
here is the possible porbs that will make this code pop up.

P1740-TCC O/D SOL PERFORMANCE
When Monitored: The Torque Convertor Clutch (TCC) and Overdrive Clutch (O/D) will be
tested each time the PCM requests TCC engagement in 3rd gear and O/D.
Set Condition: The code will set if the expected RPM drop is not achieved while
attempting to engage TCC or O/D. This indicates a malfunctioning torque convertor or
