Dodge Repair: 97 Grand Caravan dies after 3 seconds, grand caravan, wits

Question
Having problems for 3 months with my 97 Grand Caravan dying 3 seconds after start up.  Was told to disable the alarm system with the valet switch (mine is factory installed), then was told there is no switch on a factory installed system. Was then told to disable by splicing a wire to the black/blue alarm wire then grounding it. Can't find a black/blue wire anywhere under dash as suggested. Was then told it was a problem with the chip sensor in my key, or could be my key fob, or could be ignition, or, or, or.....After 3 months of checking various things, it rarely remains running for more than 3 seconds. (Once in a while I get lucky!) Please help! I'm at my wits end!

Answer
no switch, dont ground any wire  wont do any good. U dont have a chip key, Key fobs wont do anything.  Ign  maybe   do this  when u have the no start issue  tell me if the gauges work on the cluster  then smack the top of the dash see if u start then.I live in Atlanta and I could look at it for u.
