Dodge Repair: 02 Cummings T.P.S, powertrain control module, throttle position sensor

Question
My 02 Ram 3500 5.9L Cummings is having a problem with a throttle dead spot while driving.If I accelerate its good,but if select certain locations on the pedal the engine wants to idle.I got a code of P0122(Throttle Position Sensor Voltage Low).I called Dodge for Sensor price and was told it comes with a Crank Sensor for $530.00.What would you do?

have some one check it out  because a sensor may not take care of it.

APPS SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO ECM SENSOR GROUND

APPS SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN TO ECM
PCM (APPS) SHORT TO ECM SENSOR GROUND
ECM (APPS) TO PCM (APPS) CIRCUIT SHORTED
ECM (APPS) TO PCM (APPS) CIRCUIT OPEN
SHORT TO ECM SENSOR GROUND.
