Dodge Repair: Dodge Stratus, dodge stratus, 9 times out of 10

Question
QUESTION: I have a 99 Dodge Stratus 6 cylinder. My car won't start. I try to start it and it seems like it wants to start but something is not letting it go all the way. We checked the fuel pump, starter, alternater, battery, but we can't find anything. There is also no check engine light or anything. I have already wasted alot of money on towing.. Please any suggestions. PLEASE HELP! :(

ANSWER: DO u have spark at the plugs?? u can get a tester that will light up as u turn the car over. If u have a 2.5 engine 9 times out of 10 with no spark it will be the distributor assembly  and thats not cheap.

QUESTION: No, they haven't checked that yet... How expensive is that? Can't I just find a distributor at the junk yard for now? But if thats not it what else could it be? Thanks for answering me!

Answer
I take it u have a 2.5 engine then??  the distributor is vary expensive through the dealer. 900 or so  and install. U can do as u like with a junk yard one and take your chances that it may or may not even work. I am not gonna tell u what else it could be until u check for spark first.
