Dodge Repair: airbag light on, grand caravan, electrical input

I have 1997 grand caravan 3.3 engine, my airbag light come on and stay on all the time. What should i do? can i repair it?

Hi,
First off don't mess with it unless you have disconnected the battery for at least 5 minutes.  As the airbag retains an electrical input for a few minutes after disconnecting the battery and you could set it off accidently.  You can go to Auto Zone and they will put a code reader on your vehicle for free.  They can then tell you what the problem is.
