Dodge Repair: water in drivers carpet, windshield wiper, pine straw

Question
A follow up to a question to Justin Levy (could not find him on the list). After two seperate heavy rains, while the car was parked overnight, I have had a great deal of water on the floor on the drivers side. The longer the rain the worse the water. I checked the windows, replaced felt and checked the rubber around the door jam. Justin told the other writer that water may be coming from a "faulty heater core." How is that possible since the engine was not running, does that sound like the right answer and how hard is it to replace?

Answer
what year and model of car................I know in the earlier chrysler years, they had a sever problem with water build up in the windshield wiper area at eh intakes for the vents, and as a result you always had water coming in.....anyone familiar with these can remember even getting pine straw and leaves out of them.

In either case this is the likely spot, no matter what you have
