Dodge Repair: wipers, dodge caravan, body control module

2000 dodge caravan 3.3L. power windows and locks, cruise control.  PROBLEM: front wipers turn on on their own even when vehicle is off and left unnattended (have to pull wiper relay to stay off or battery runs low, whichever comes first). replaced both delay and wiper relays and problem continued. check engine light comes and goes. any ideas. thanks, felipe

Check engine light codes have to be retrieved before I can even start helping with that.

Wipers could be a number of things from a bad wiper switch, bad wiper motor to even the body control module.  Good news is there's a service bulletin to help diagnose this problem.  Bad news is only the dealer has a computer that can talk with ALL of the modules on your vehicle in order to properly diagnose the problem.

It's fixable, it's not a complete mystery, you're just going to have to fork over some money to fix it.
