Dodge Repair: 1998 Durango wiper fluid connection???, windshield company, dodge durango

Question
Hi, I hope you can help. I had the windshield of my 1998 Dodge Durango replaced. Since then, I noticed no washer fluid coming out. I figured it was empty, but found it full. I am assuming that they disconnected everything to replace the windshield, and did not replace it correctly. What we found is very odd though---there is a hose coming from the washer container, it looks as thoug it goes into a black reservior type box. It seems that there should be another hose coming from that black box to connect to where the fluid comes out, but there isn't. There is a hose that leads to the brakes (fluid I believe he said). Can you help us and let us know how this is supposed to be connected? We cannot find it anywhere. It is the strangest set-up my husband has ever seen. Thank you so much!

Answer
Sandy,
The only place the Windshield company would have disconnected the washer fluid is under the cowl at the base of the windshield.  You may need to remove the cowl for access to the connection.  But why not just return to the guys that installed the windshield?
