Dodge Repair: 1999 Dodge Neon Starting Problems, dodge neon, fuse box

Question
My 99 Neon has been giving me trouble with turning over the last few months. Every once in awhile, it will not start or fire. I have to open the hood and have someone tap on the black fuse box located next to the battery in order for it to fire up.  However, last night it just wouldn't do it at all.  Its seems like something so simple, a fuse or wiring but I'm not sure. Being a single mom, I just cant afford to take my car to a shop without knowing what might be the problem so I don't get stuck with a repair bill I cannot afford. I think the battery is still good, no engine light has come on and like I said, tapping on this black box on either the left or right side seemed to work till now..Please help!
Thanks,
Dee

Answer
Hello Hun
This is a bad cont. In the fuse box. the starter relay is in that box . I would change that first just plugs in like a reg. elct plug .
and also check the wires going to it could be the problem.
