Dodge Repair: 1999 Intrepid cabin filter, cabin filter, entire system

Question
Is there a cabin filter on a 1999 Intrepid, and where is it located?
I did not see any reference to this filter in the Haynes service
manual for this car. The reason for this question is a bad odor
coming out of the heating system. What are the usual solutions
to this problem? Thank you.

There isn't a cabin filter for these cars. However, theinternal components may just be dirty from someone else that may have drove the car and not taken care of it. Try taking the entire system apart and thoroughly cleaning it with bleach, this should help.
