Dodge Repair: Grand Caravan Water Intake, 1996 grand caravan, grand caravan

Question
1996 Grand Caravan 3.8l

I hit what seemed to be a small amount of water in my Grand Caravan, and it died. Now, the starter just clicks like something is locked up. It will not turn over at all. I have changed the starter, but it didn't fix the problem. The van apparently sucked in some water because the air filter was soaked. What could the problem be, and how can I fix it?

Thanks

Answer
Seems like there is a strong possibility that if the air filter is soaked, you probably got water in the engine through your intake. Which in turn could have siezed it. Put half a quart of Rislone or Marvel's Mystery oil down the cylinders and let it sit for a few days and see what happens. If it still wont turn over, it might need a motor.
