Dodge Repair: Electrical Problems, temperature swings, ilive

HI, I have a 1987 Dodge aries the 2.2 liter version. Four Days ago my car wouldnt start, it would turnover and then slowly die after two to three times of starting it until i got nothing. So I jumped it, and it ran fine, all day, no problems starting it, until the next morning when I went to start it. Same problem, Jumped it but then it ran fine. This has happened every morning since in a continual pattern. Only in the mornings when i first go to start the car. Ilive in florida so sometimes the temperature swings can be great but it doesnt happen at night. A month ago i replaced the terminals and changed the alternator belts. I checked the belt its tight and it seems to be operating properly. Sorry for the long post your help would be greatly appreciated. I'm a college student so i like to fix the car on my own if i can.

this is a bad volatge reg. it is in the compuiter on this car it is behind the battery .

it is 75 to a hundred dollors to buy and very easy to install 8 metric socket rachet and ext. and just pull the elct. plugs
