Dodge Repair: Right turn signal flashing fast 91 plymouth voyager, light bulb burns, left turn signal

Question
Hello,
The right turn signal was left on when I started my 1991 Plymouth Voyager.  Now it flashes like crazy when I use it, but the left turn signal is fine.  I couldn't find any clues in my manual and the fault codes indicate everything is "normal."  What is going on and how should I fix it?  Please help.
Thanks.

Answer
The problem is a bad bulb.

The flasher works by heat in the circut, the flasher gets hot and open the circut. this makes the lights go off as the flasher cools off the circut is complete and the lights go back on.
This happens really fast . when a light bulb burns out the flasher has more current going through the system and will heat up much faster.  if the bulbs are all burning then the problem could be a bad ground in one of the bulbs.  try changing the bulbs on that side and see what happens .

Good luck,

Steve
