Dodge Repair: Front end, cv axles, dodge caravan

Question
Steve, I have a 1995 dodge caravan 3.3l and about two months ago when you accelerate the front end seems to wobble back and forth  and when you take your foot off the pedal it stops. It is eating the outsides of both front tires. I have people tell me its the transmission, the cv axles ( which were just replaced), motor mounts. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks David Price

Answer
You may have two problems,
First the inner cv tripod sound like the spring is broken and may need to be replaced this can be checked by removing the axle and looking at the inner joint

Also the front end should be checked  for proper alinghment..

Also if the axles were replaced make sure the motor is alinghed right in the car. if the motor is not centered in the car this can put presure on the axles.

Good luck
Steve
