Dodge Repair: Neon 1995/1994, timeing belt, gas filter

Question
Neon 1995 1.8L SOHC (I believe this is what I have)It has about 152,600 miles on it.

Hi,

Lately, I feel that my car does not want to accelerate.  At times, out of the blue, it slows down and I have to press/release the gass pedal consistantly for it to run and, even then, it moves very, very slowly.  It also vibrates a little.  I took it to the shop and they changed the fuel pump and gas filter.  After that it ran okay.  Now I'm noticing that if I drive above 50-55 mph it will start to vibrate/shake a little and if I don't slow down it'll sort of start jolting and then I have to start the "pressing/releasing of the gass again" to make it move.  Then, when it does move, sometimes it will suddenly accelerate really quickly and I have to make sure to keep 50-55 mph before it starts doing it all over again.  Also, sometimes, when I'm at a red light, it'll start to tremble again and when I press the gass it seems to go away.

What do you think the problem could be?  Not very knowledgeable on cars, so any help will be most appreciated.
