Dodge Repair: Passenger air, dodge ram 4x4, fuse box

Question
I have a 2002 dodge ram 4x4 quad cab. My son plays a lot of hockey and we drive all over the place. I would like him to ride up front with me but he is only 8. I want to disconnect the passenger air bag. In the fuse box, fuse 52 and 53 are listed as airbags. 52 says air bag and 53 says air bag and side bags. Will I disconnect the passenger side air bag from possible deployment if I pull the fuse from 53 plug. If this won't worrk what is a better way to do it.

Answer
if u pull the fuses it will disable both of them  if u unplug just the pass side none of them will fire because it cant see the pass air bag  so either u disable both of them or none of them.  There might be a lock out switch that the dealer sells call them up and ask for parts.
