HELLO,
SOMETHING IN MY 94 BUICK IS DRAINING MY BATTERY OVER NIGHT CAN YOU TELL ME HOW TO TROUBLE SHOOT THIS PROBLEM I RECENTLY REPLACED THE BATTERY WITH A NEW ONE AND THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS WHAT IS BAFFLEING IS IT DOES NOT HAPPEN EVERY NIGHT BUT WHEN IT DOES HAPPEN I JUMP THE CAR AND ITS FINE FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. ANY HELP IN THIS MATTER WOULD BE APPRECIATED THANK YOU

What work of ANY KIND WHAT-SO-EVER has been done on the vehicle prior to this problem ?.

Have you had ANY problems with the blower motor that provides A/C and heat air flow into the passengers compartment thru the vents on the dash ?.

Are you parking the vehicle on a STEEP HILL ?.

Are the interior lights going OFF after you exit the vehicle after only a couple of minutes >?.

The most common problems are:


1. The light mounted under the hood in the engine comrtment is staying ON.

2. the trunk light is staying ON.

3. The interior lights are staying ON and or coming ON overnight.

4. The above said blower motor is randomly coming ON. Very common problem.

5. An internal intermittent fault in the power antenna motor.


These 5 are the most common problems as stated above.


Randomly over the course of the next few nights, look out at your vehicle to see if you can see any lights and or haer any electric motors running.
