Ford Repair: 2008 Taurus X power liftgate failed

Question
Liftgate will not go up when commanded from dash button, or from remote, or from the button under the lift handle.  Can be lifted manually but falls shut quickly when let go of.  Support struts may be failed, but I also suspect that the lift motor is bad.  What is the procedure for replacing the liftgate motor?  (I will also replace the two support struts but I know how to do that.)  Thanks.
