Ford Repair: 1994 fore f150 5.8L EFI has fuel and spark but wont start

Question
QUESTION: I've replaced the idle control the map sensor the egr solenoid. Took the throttle body off to get to the tps and noticed a gasket leak so I replaced that but not the tps cause i was told if it does run it would run real rough if tps was bad. The truck doesn't want to start most the time but after sitting there for a while (the longest time has been half hour to 45 minuets of cranking it over repeadidly with short pauses in between) the truck will start and idle just fine and drive normally. If looked up the crankshaft positioning sensor but that always leads me streight to the tps sensor. Idk what to do any more. Can you help me

ANSWER: The TPS could very well be bad. Most of the time it does run rough. When it is running is there a check engine light on? If not have autozone or your local parts store check for stored codes. Please let me know. Thanks for the question.

QUESTION: No there's no check engine light while running and I got an OBD1 reader and there was no codes that came up. I went ahead and changed the tps last night and at first it seemed fixed. Truck started right up with normal idol but then this morning it's back to the same thing not wanting to start.

Answer
Hi Alex,
You may have to have it put on a computer to see what the crankshaft positioning sensor or the camshaft sensor is reading. Usually the crankshaft sensor goes and you have no spark. Cam sensor goes and you can still have spark but timing is off.
Thank you.
