Ford Repair: radio/cd, pink wire, radio cd

I have a radio/cd that does not operate. Not light up at all. There is power present at the pink wire on connector. I have tried different radio/cd with same results. Need to know if rear control malfunctioning can cause this problem and if I can disable it at rear of head unit. Or possibly how that I can troubleshoot system.

you'll have to give me a day or two to check into this.. i'm gonna assume you checked al fuses in the vehicle as well as the engine compartment because i believe you should have 12.0 volts on atleast 3 wires to the radio. one for memory. one for display and one for c.d. operation
