Nissan Repair: 2002 nissan sentra ser, nissan sentra, auto zone

I OWN A 2002 NISSAN SENTRA SER THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CODE I GOT FROM AUTO ZONE STORE WHEN IT WAS CHECKED WAS 2 CODES 1 WAS U1001 AND THE OTHER WAS U1000 THE STORE REP SAID HE COULD NOT TELL ME WHAT THESE CODES WERE. I NEED YOUR HELP.

The codes he states are not on the list of codes.  First6 they should start with a P and look like P1002 or such.  I would go to a different parts store like Checker and see if they can successfully read the codes.  The code list skips the two you say he read.  In that series of codes they do not start until P2002.  I bet his scanner had out of date software.
