Ford Repair: 94 Ford Bronco Trans Shift Pigtail, bronco graveyard, ford bronco

Question
Chris,
We are experiencing the trans in our 94 bronco bucking thru gears. It was troubleshot to the Trans shift plug. Apparently, we were told the tabs on the plug were broken off and the plug wiggles out. I got underneath this weekend and after removing the heat shield. I confirmed the tabs are gone and the plug can easily come loose. When I pushed it down the bucking seemed to clear up for awhile until I went over some bumps then it would start to buck thru gears again. I looked the part up on bronco graveyard site and found the E40D Trans Shift Pigtail. It looks just like the plug on my bronco. Problem I see is it's got all the blue wires with some showing a white stripe. How do I know what wire to splice together. I was hoping it was sold as a complete wiring harness with plugs on both ends. Can you help?

Answer
cut the pigtail off off your bronco and leave about an inch of wire sticking out of the pigtail
then one by one solder the correct wire by matching which wire is in which hole on the old terminal and match with the correct hole on new one-solder and heat shrink all connections or you will have problems again.
