2004 ford f150 air conditioner is starting to blow hot air. friends told me to check cabin filter but i was told there wasn't one. don't know what to do next. your thoughts

cabin filter wouldn't cause it to blow warm air anyway it would restrict flow.

have it checked out it is probably low on freon. you didn't give me much to go on like is it cooling at all? if so is it better in mornings then afternoons when outside temp is hotter?
does it cool well at times then not at all for a period of time? good luck and follow up with more info if you need to.
