Ford Repair: Transmission Replacement, transmission replacement, luck chris

Hi Chris...  I just had the transmission replaced in my 05 Escape.  I just picked it up and on the way home I noticed the A/C is not working.  I know it was working when the car went in 3 weeks ago.  My question is, what could they have done to the A/C from a transmission replacement?  Thanks for your help.

That is odd. the tranmssion and ac has nothing to do with each other on theses escapes. meaning you do not need to do anything to the a/c system to remove and install the transmission. The first thing that will have to get checked is to see if there is freeon in the system, if there is than something may have been forgotten, like a connector or something along those lines. let me know what you find. good luck
