Ford Repair: Ford will not start, ford taurus, antitheft

Question
I own a Ford Taurus 2002. It was working well and all of a sudden, will not start again. On the dash board a signal than reads THEFT is flashing at all time. this is the second time it's happening. What should I do to fix the problem?

Answer
your antitheft is preventing your vehicle from starting-if you have another key try that-other wise you may have to have two new keys programmed or you have a problem with your antitheft system not working correctly and it will have to be diagnosed and repaired probably by a dealer because it will require reprogramming- if your key to antitheft module loses communication this will happen but also a key that becomes unprogrammed will do it.

there is not a wire to cut it is more complicated than that. it shouldn't be to expensive to have it checked at a dealer or garage that has equipment and proper training to reprogram keys or check out problem. it goes through a computor and module so you just can't cut a wire. good luck.
