Ford Repair: Rear wheel bearings on 2003 Ford Focus, rear wheel bearings, impact gun

Question
I replaced the rear wheel bearings in my 2003 Ford Focus in July of 2009, with less than 10,000 miles I have the same roaring coming from the rear wheels, have you heard of this problem occurring again after less then 10,000 miles? and if so could there be another problem?

Answer
Hey there. There are a few reasons for roaring in the rear end on a focus, First check the tires, the rear tire typically wear with a cupping effect on the inside of the tires in the rear only, this will also cause a bad roar noise. another reason can be that the wheel bearing where improperly installed. or the seal was damaged. Or the Nut on the hub was over otorqued, Installing with an impact gun can also cause premature wear on the bearing. Let me know what happens.
