Ford Repair: 1989 ford 460, camper conversion, brake hoses

Question
Hello, I asked you a question about my 1989 E-350 that has been sitting for fifteen years and you replyed that you did not answer homework questions. what did you mean by this statement. I am not a kid trying to get by at vocational school or something. this van is an Airstream camper conversion that is worth more running than it is sitting in front of my shop. Its okay if you dont have a clue what the problem could be because I dont. Donald

Answer
I apologize for the vague reply. It is just one of the limited responses to an in depth question such as yours. For this case, I will explain why homework is needed. I consider homework where we would correspond at least 3 or more times to find the solution. If you have a shop, you know to look for two things; fuel and fire. A lack of either can be because of various problems. When a vehicle sits up that long, the problems will range from fuel lines, brake hoses, ignition connections, etc. The list is endless. To sum it up, If it is not responding to a small shot of either, you spark is either not present or too weak. You just have to work backwards from the plugs. Please note this, starting fluid is very dangerous to use. It can be extremely harmful to late model engines.
