Ford Repair: engine wont start; electrical, ground cable, electrical power

i'm stumped.  i installed the engine in my truck and after i got everything hooked up and when i turn my key and all i get is a click and then all electrical power dies.  it sounds like a solenoid but i'm not sure.

if you get a click then electrical power dies you have a loos connection in power or grounds. be especially sure to check ground cable to block make sure it is clean and tight with good cables-if you painted your block take ground loose from block and sand or file the paint off and reinstall cable-but i promise you will probably find a bad connection if you have temporary ends on the cables be sure and check there also. good luck.
