Ford Repair: Coolant leak., losing coolant, coolant leak

Question
Good Morning James,
I own an 1993 Ford Taurus Wagon, 3.8 V6 engine. Is it possible for antifreeze to leak from the muffler? I installed a water pump this past summer with NO problems, but now I'm Losing coolant drasticly. The leak is not coming from the front bottom of the engine (I know fluids will travel under the vehicle %26 drip from another location)When exiting my garage I noticed a puddle of coolant where the rear axle was when parked. Then when going to the local auto parts store (around the corner)I noticed when returning to my vehicle fluid was dripping from the inlet of the muffler. When started, the muffler burned off the coolant but caused more smoke from behind my vehicle (It's cold here where I live).Any information would be helpful, Thank You.

Answer
Unfortunately I believe that you need to find an alternate means of transportation. You have either a bad head gasket or intake gasket. With the lack of drivability issues, I would say head gasket for now. You can try some of those remedies at the parts store, but don't hold your breath.
